hi everyone!!!

anyone of you who's interested in playing futsal please reply me ASAP (latest by Friday 10am) in this comment box OR Evon (sorry can't give the hp number here...) (btw, she's organizing it) =) .
btw, both male and female are most welcomed, but was hoping more females would join... hehe.. maybe we can have battle of the sexes!! =)
transport will be provided, but if you can go there by yourself as you already have transport, it would help alot! hehe.. thanks! =)

Orientation~~
Dear members,
There will be an orientation (as usual) this coming 30th and the 31st December 2008.
The student council has requested 10-15 members from each student association to be the facilitators. We also need another 5 members to be there - 2 to be at the main booth to promote SSLAA, and the other 3 would be to be at another SSLAA booth during the treasure hunt as that booth would be one of the stations (SC wants to indirectly promote clubs tru stations during the treasure hunt).
So if u guys are intersted and free for those 2 days please let Bala/Ah O/me know about your participation as either a facilitator, or helper at the booth.
dates : 30/12/08 and 31/12/08
time : 8.00am till 5.00pm
venue : MPH
pls reply us as sson as possible.. hopefully latest by next thursday (23 october 2008).

halloween party..etc etc
hey guys..
I would like to thank everyone for helping out in making the party a success (i don't care about the fire, coz it was certainly a success as we made that far)... sorry i cannot name out who helped as i do not intend to leave anyone out (there's a possibility i mite missed out one or two), so just count urself in even if you did not help out.. LOLZ!! kidding. sorry it took me quite a while to thank all of you.. my mind was foggy... too much carbon dioxide from the fire extinguisher i guess.. blegh!
so anyway, i would like to apologize for the last minute meetings this week. it was due to unforseen circumstances that we had to have these two meetings.. and even though i myself do not want to have anymore meetings as everyone is busy preparing for their finals, i had no choice. im very sorry.
I would also like to apologize for last sem's and this sem's kelam kabut-ness... everything was quite messy when i took over, and i failed to tidy up as soon as possible as i was stuck with asgms and studies. hence, i would like to make sure that by next january, my committee and i, especially the core committee, will come up with a set of rules or guidelines for us to follow, if its feasible, and also to make sure we come up with more internal activities to keep our members, as well as to make ourselves enjoy in these activities, instead of just planning events after events.
Our main and big event would be the charity concert. We are gonna make sure it's gonna be big. We will make sure that SSLAA will now take a step higher. We are also gonna make sure that despite what happened during the halloween party, that there will be no barriers to douse our inner fire to continue doing events and activities. We came this far. Hell no are we gonna turn back. We learn from our mistakes and correct them.
We move forward with pride and dignity!

Halloween Party on Coming Friday
HI ALL, we will be having a Halloween Party on Friday, 10th Oct 2008 7.30pm at Block A, MPH ( Multi Purpose Hall ). For those who purchase 5 tickets, you will be able to get 1 ticket for free. We will be having Magic performing, bands performing and scary Maze. Prefered come with costume because we will choose the best and scariest costume. Really hope you guys will be able to make it, we need your support. :)
