Yippie!!

Updates! Updates and more updates!!

So now is my turn to update u guys and gals of what we will be doing next semester.
We do hope that all of u will not be reluctant to help us out and stay committed as u can, as SSLAA do really need people who are committed to keep the club running!!

First in our plan is the luncheon~ And once again, like the previous semesters (apart from short semester) we will be having luncheon as suggested by Mr Ken. Next semester we shall be having pot luck again, and it shall be on the 7th of January, which is a Wednesday. Please do check your schedule and be there for the ice breaking session!!

Second in line is the teambuilding which will be conducted on the 17th January. I know it is a Saturday, and I am sure that u people will be so lazy to get your butt out of the comfy bed, but hey, what can be more meaningful that to spend the Saturday knowing more of your other SSLAA-ians? We really do hope that all of the SSLAA-ians to be there so that we can know each other well, regardless of seniors, juniors, skin color, tall, short, etc. The teambuilding will be conducted in two sessions in a day, with the morning session we shall be exploring the outdoors (mainly UCSI area) and the afternoon session inside the campus. We are currently looking for members who are interested to be part of the organising commitee for this teambuilding, and there shall be a blend of juniors and seniors working together in the commitee.
The bad side (some of u might take this a good news though..oh please don't!) of the news though, is the fact that it is stated in the university website that there will be Open Day in the campus on 17th too. We had submitted our proposal, so now all we can do is to wait and cross our fingers!!

Third~ Well, we will not being International Women's Day next year (sob sob) but then we will be having a Charity Concert in conjunction with IWD!! Talks are still on going between SSLAA and the benifiary and also the collaboration party, so look out on this page for more updates!
If everything goes our way, the concert shall be conducted in March and it is gonna be big!

Fourth~ We are also planning for workshops that cater to Mass Comm students whereby we will be inviting speakers from outside to talk more on the different pathways~ Ftv, Journalism and also marketing communications. This workshop shall be conducted in February and it is open to non-SSLAA-ians. So for those who are currently in foundation or in other courses, u can always come and join us!

Lastly, SSLAA will also be a part of the Unifest by having our booths to sell drinks and also games as well as to promote our club in January. So guys and gals!! Come and be a part of the celebration!!


Apart from all of the above mentioned, there are also other plans, but it is still hanging in our plans, so once it is confirmed, then we shall inform all of u here!!
The most important thing is that, we need man power and your committment to make sure all of the plan can become a success!! We need your idea as well as inspiration!
